Then don't buy the food and drink simple. You don't have to.

My point is that there's a lot of whining and moaning that goes on when only two years back we were playing football in a pretty poor school sports ground. Get over it and enjoy the Amex.

I sort of agree with this. The cashback with e-cash still makes these prices relatively competitive with other sports stadia, although our actual facilities are far superior to most. I think the major gripe and one that has to be dealt with is the level of service which still appears to be very poor in places.

I love the Amex, for me the match day experience is a joy, I've got a great seat with a great view, a pleasant concourse on which to meet and socialise with friends, and then the freedom to roam after the game as the train queue subsides after the game. I also get to watch Vicente week in week out, marvellous scenes indeed!

Pie & a pint is £7.50 in the north stand

Yes, it is but if you have loaded money on your season ticket card and pay with that, you get 10% cashback. £7.50 - 75p = £6.75

Am I missing something where on my ticket does it mandate that I have to buy refreshments at the ground if you don't like it don't buy it Christ you can even take your own if you want the family next to us bring an entire picnic every game. It's simple economics if the demand plummets the club will have to reassess the prices if everyone leaves the ground immediately after the game then transport problems which is not good for the club.
We live in a capitalist society where money is king I don't like it but that's life get on with it you have a choice.
