I have filmed at the dripping pan before. Found the best spot was on the halfway line on the south side.

Its ground level with the players isn't it? Was wondering if there was a bank in the centre of the field to raise the view for the camera a little.

Adrie may need it pointed out to him, I confident he might find the half way line, but am not convinced that he'll be able to calculate where the south is without being able to see the sea.

I think there's grassy banks all round the pitch so you should be able to get a decent view.

Its quite steep for camera use but as long as you set the tripod up right it will be fine.

You don't need a mic for a start, theres nothing to hear. Secondly you should have a function on the camera which will reduce the wind noise.

If you check your instruction manuel their should be just a simple button you press. Might be different for different cameras though.
