Nah, that was Kim Milton Neilson who reffed the Bayern/Arsenal game.
I have to say it was a bad decsion to send Drogba off, but Chelseas reaction smacks of sour grapes. I didn't watch the match but I gather Cheslsea weren't at any point really in the game and were fortunate to be 1-0 up. They still had to defend with or without Drogba and it was only the keeper that kept the scoreline respectable. The tunnel "incedent" (which sounds as though it has been blown way out of proportion) and the sending off are convenient ways of letting themselevs off the hook for putting in anothere below par performance.

The thing that I find strange about the Ref's decision was the fact that he was miles away from Drogba at the time of the incident. At the very best, all he could have seen was Drogba's back.
From watching it, you can see the Drogba lowered his foot and connected with the ball, then his momentum took him in to the goalkeeper.
For me, it was a fair 50-50 challenge that did not even deserve a booking.
Given what the ref saw, I feel he simply reacted to the goalkeeper and the crowds reaction.
Don't get me wrong, I don't actually care if Chelski get knocked out, but this is another case of a Ref making a bad decision, and I can't help feeling that if he'd actually played the game before becoming a ref, he might have seen it differently.
