Decent enough effort by England in the 4th innings. The failure to wrap up India’s first innings probably the difference in this game. Still a cracking series though.
England will undoubtedly feel that the series has been a huge missed opportunity. They've lost two Tests from winning positions, and could have the series won now. (Though equally, India would counter that they lost the first Test from a winning position)
Real mixed bag - some bad cricket and bad decisions in key sessions - but also some superb individual performances, and the emergence of a couple of young spinners with real promise.
India should be delighted, mind - they've won a series with a couple of their biggest names missing, and the 'finds' of Jurel, and most especially Jaiswal, mean they look well stocked for the next few years. Jaiswal could be an absolute world-beater.

I thought Jaiswal looked decent when they played in South Africa a couple of months ago but he’s taken it to a whole new level in this series.

Errm, in amid all the Euro excitement there is a aperitif in disappointment in the early hours tomorrow in the form of the 5th Test.
The match is in Dharamsala, which sounds more like a Chef's Special at the Taj than a ground for a red ball battle.
Talk of England playing three seamers.
The series has turned out to be the damp squib many of us anticipated. But one last hurrah before we move to the summer. Or rather, three weeks time when the new season starts. I think it's August when we take the next break...
Donkey stat fart: England have scored as many centuries as India on this relatively new ground (2 each). Apparently the ground is at altitude, so expect some huge hits.

Jo'burg is also at altitude [The Wanderers & Centurion on the highveld] and the ball defo moves around more in the air ....
Extra seamer might make sense, but look at the deck first to see if that's spin-friendly.
Dead-rubber really, shame, as we have played well in some sessions but very poorly in others.
