I love this thread so much I'm tempted to take sildenafil before going to bed.
This table is giving me hope that we can still make the top 4. Newcastle only have a maximum of 4 points more than us. Win up there (yes that’ll be difficult) and there’s only one point in it.

Tottenham have Newcastle away next weekend, so points will be dropped by at least one side we are chasing, hoping for a draw so both drop 2

I know you are the Optimist, but even so!
I honestly think the top four is out of reach , and even the top six or seven is no foregone conclusion. A place in the Europa L;eague for next season would more than satisfy me, providing we can acieve it of course.
I didn't want to start a new thread for what is a nonsense question and felt this kind of fit most in here...but does anyone know if there is a team in the PL we haven't beaten home and away yet? Bar the likes of Cardiff who we shat the bed against twice and didn't get to play them again.
We've done all the 'big six' at home and away now, with the exception of City at the Etihad.

A few jump to mind, I may just have a poor memory:
Fulham? Feel like we have a poor record against them, not only this season. I know we beat them in the Championship (That Dunk header.)
Away at Newcastle?
Away at Leicester? Feel like we never do well there (Apart from the Ulloa masterclass under Garcia.)

Yeah, don't recall us winning at Leicester. Not sure we have beaten Fulham at home or away in the PL tbh, think the last time we beat them was at Craven Cottage in the red away shirts which must have been Championship.
It does seem like we never do well at St James's but we did hammer them 3-0 there a few seasons ago (maybe during lockdown?) , when Biss got sent for accidentally booting one of their players in the face.

Obviously Chelsea were the last team we’d played in the respective league matches in our 122 year history that we hadn’t beaten, done it twice now. 👍 How close are we to beating every team we’ve played in the League home and away? Obviously we’ve memorably done most of the big hitters...

Do you mean beaten in the PL? Or the League? Or At All? (I don't mind having a furtle depending on the question). Is it current PL or teams that we've been in the PL with?
We beat them 1-0 up there as well - the middle game of those three consecutive 1-0 wins under CH, and our first away win for a year or so.

Never beaten Fulham in 6 attempts, not won at Leicester, not beaten Southampton at home, and lost every time at Etihad.
