With NSC begging for us to play two upfront and the majority on here are suggesting one up front. KLL to start, that's not him, some of these team sheets appear to be very similar to last year with some electing to play an unknown, unsigned striker instead of CMS, COG and Shamir, very strange.

I wonder whether Stephens will be played in a more advanced, creative role when he comes back from injury. He played deep for us last season but was an AMC for Charlton, he can certainly pick a pass, and is good with either foot.

Obviously there are bound to be changes as we buy new players, Calderon at left back isn't ideal. I think that already looks a reasonable team though, and not the worst bench either. Oh and Ince for Toko if his knee is still swollen.

It's a subjective thread, ie asking who you would start with the current squad in place.

I've never seen Toko play, so I couldn't possibly include him, and I don't think Buckley has merited a start for a long time.

Now I like the look of this Toko the enforcer crofts bombing into the box I might swap jake for Stevens but CMS out a little wide is exactly his position never straight down the middle

Give Crofts licence to go forward - as he is a goal-scoring midfielder. Defence looks solid.

I think we'll get a quality striker in by the end of the transfer deadline, but not for August 9th. My gut tells me Ward will be in for the opener. So my team would be:
