Following on from some film threads and the recent release of Kill Bill i thought i'd voice my opinions on Tarantino movies.1 is my fave 4 is the least liked.

1.Reservior Dogs-Classic film,so simple but so effective. They must have used about 3 sets for the whole film but it still looks so effective. You can tell this film had an impact when you see Harvey Keitel and a load of fairly unknown actors shoot back (Harvey Keitel) and into (Buscemi,Roth,Madsen) the spotlight.
Classic quotes,
"Why do i have to be Mr.Pink?-Buscemi
"All you can do is pray for a quick death, which, you ain't gonna get"-Madsen
"Larry,Larry,I'm a cop,I'm sorry Larry i'm a cop *bang*"-Roth

2.Kill Bill-Legendary status i feel for this two part epic.Thurman is great and the fight scenes,if a little unbelievable, are amazing. There also seems to be a fair amount that we haven't really heard about in the first film inferring the plot will be even thicker in the second part.Good cast as well with Thurman,Carradine,Hannah,Madsen really taking it to you.

3.Jackie Brown-Heavily underrated film i feel.Cleverly cast with Pam Grier,Samuel L. Jackson and Robert DeNiro the main stars but cameos from other famous faces such as Bridgette Fonda and Michael Keaton help the story along immensly.Clever plot originally adapted from a book which is probably why it is not particularly like Tarantino's other films.Still good though.

4.Pulp Fiction-Now just because this is my least fave doesn't mean to say it's not good because it is.Again packed with stars like Bruce Willis,Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta the plot leaps back and forth through time. Now although it is cleverly done you do occasionally find yourself thinking isn't he dead or has that happened yet or not which is a little confusing.Good but not,IMHO,his best.

Am i right????

Pulp Fiction is superb.

Resrvoir Dogs - always asked this, was it Mr Pink that we never knew what happened ?

No right or wrong Dunkstar, its all a matter of opinion. Just cos I don't like a film you happen to like, doesn't make me right or you wrong. In no particular order, here are my opinions on the films you mention.

Pulp Fiction - superb. One of the most beautifully scripted films ever IMHO, the dialogue just crackles along, wonderful.

Jacky Brown - dull, didn't think much of it at all.

Reservoir Dogs - Another cracking script, brutally violent but very entertaining, and a quite unique film in itself, not seen anything like it before or since.

Kill Bill - I think this one will grow on me. I quite enjoyed it, but it didn't barrell along at the pace I thought it would, it was quite poorly paced I thought. The fact that its been "cut in half" really does show...once we have the second half, I'm sure it'll stand up as a far better film overall.

If you mean what happened to Mr.Pink then i think we are supposed to think that when Mr.Pink leaves at the end he goes and picks up the diamonds from where he stashed them and makes off with them.
