personally i think anything that is judged and not meausured by time, distance, points etc isnt a proper sport and shouldnt be there.

and they should sort out the pro/amatuer one way or the other, though i suppose theres not much scope for pro runners and shot put.

If darts goes in then so should dominoes.

Boxing gets in because they count LANDED punches and so a boxer is not really judged rather, marked, excuse the pun !

I really enjoy synchro swimming - it's amazingly technical, you have to be supremely fit to do it

So's the WWE but I don't think that should be an olympic event either. Or should it? It would go nicely with ITV's phone ins.

Isn't the boxing judged...three people press a button when they think a scoring punch has been landed, they all need to register their vote within a certain time for a point to be awarded...or something like that?
