He didn’t have much choice though, he was on the stretch. Just very unfortunate the player got injured. You see so many clearances like that in a typical game, just without the injury.

but most of those are pointing the toe, not the full studs. its the flat foot that does the damage and is not allowed.

if that had been in the Prem early last season they would still be looking at it and have eventually called it offside.

What a battling game that was.
Sweden play some good football but I think we would have coped with them.
Ukraine do have a toughness about them that I am concerned about.
They can't be taken lightly.
