Here we go again. One (very) bad performance and suddenly everyone wants Sven out.

I also believe that nobody was really up or it, they have just played the first game of the season and have to play again this weekend, I wouldn't have been trying.

In the end, fully fit, we would have won that game.

that could well be the case but that is shocking. The amount of wonga they get, pulling on the three lions, 5,000 passionate fans behind you . . .I know it doesn't matter but "not being up for it" is an insult to the 5k who travelled and doesn't say alot for Svens motivational skills.

Fully fit possibly , but they have had a whole pre season , 1 game . . they can't be far off and besides alot of Danish players play here anyway and they looked pretty good to me

No e77, its not "one bad performance".

Its ANOTHER bad performance. ANOTHER no-show for the 2nd half. ANOTHER example of Svens ineptitude and complete indifference to using friendlies as proper preperation for important games coming up.

And I assure you, I've wanted Sven out for a couple of years now. "Suddenly" doesn't come into it.

Svens only 2 mistakes IMHO is trying to persevere with James who can not be in our squad now and guaranteeing Becks a place whatever. Think hes the best man available for the job at the moment and should do ok for us at the world cup. Despite last night we have got a class squad who raise their game against decent opposition and big occassions. ps think becks should be in the starting 11, though not set in stone like sven thinks

allardyce is the perfect man, he is clearly the best english manager around, and despite someone else saying he is tactically inept, he is tactically superb

ok, so bolton don't play beautiful football, but they get results, could you see anyone else getting a very very average bolton side to finish 6th?

big sam for england:clap:

Typical crap from you lot. One bad half and the manager's head is required. Sure it was pretty pathetic in the second half, but it was hardly his preferred starting line-up. And better to have one of these disasters during a meaningless friendly than in a qualifier.

Judge Sven on how we do in the World Cup, not on the result of a friendly.

When you think of the team that Kevin Keegan had in 2001, and how Eriksson has evolved the squad since, I think he has done a pretty reasonable job.

Last night was poor, granted, but for christ's sake it was a friendly, and the idea of friendlies is for them to teach you things that you may not have known about your squad. Eriksson may not have got that, but the one good thing to come out of last night is that David James will never pull on an England jersey again.

And what on earth makes people think that Sam Allardyce is going to be better than Eriksson? There aren't too many around better than Eriksson at the moment, and if there are, they are not English and have decent club jobs. Managers like Allardyce would be no better than Keegan or Hoddle.

Also, after that, expect us to give the Welsh a hiding, because the players will not want to go through that twice or in a qualifier.

I think that some people here are missing the point. It's about winning the World Cup, not just beating Wales and Northern Ireland, and obviously we won't win the World Cup while we have such obvious, glaring deficiencies.

The argument about only losing to Brazil, Portugal and France in meaningful games only tells part of the story. We get in front, then defend too deep and end up losing, and I've seen nothing in the last year to suggest anything will be any different, not in selection, tactics, organisation - NOTHING.

SVEN OUT....been saying it since the Euros.
The man cannot motivate the best group of players we have had since 66.

How many times.

Its NOT "one bad half" is it ? We have had NUMEROUS "bad halfs" under this bloke. He must be putting VALIUM in the tea at half time or something, because time and time again, following an "Eriksson Team Talk" during the interval, his players come out and die a death.

I've judged Sven in the World Cup and the European CHampionships, and both times, when the test has arrived, we have come up WOEFULLY short. And I have seen absolutely nothing since those two tournaments to suggest that Germany is going to be any different.

No friendlies should ever be "meaningless". We've got a World Cup qualifier in 2 weeks for christs sake - how about using these games as proper preperation, instead of f***ing about and then saying it'll be alright on the night. The laziness, arrogance and unprofessionalism of last nights effort just beggars belief for an England international. It was an insult to the fans who paid to go and watch that shower.

Given that a very average Everton side finished fourth last season having lost their best player it is hardly a reason to promote Sam to England supremo.

No f***ing Way Mclaren, thats not changing anything.
We need a clean start.

I wouldnt be against Allardyce, as in my opinion he is the best English Choice.

O'Neill i like also, another manager that gets that extra 20% out of every player that plays for him, no such thing as a friendly in his book and he is more experienced in Europe than most.

Wenger also would be high on my wish list.
