It's clear where priorities lie with teams at the top of the Championship.

If Brighton and Newcastle really wanted a cup win yesterday, I'm sure at least one of us would have got it.

Now Leeds losing at Sutton, who needed extra time to beat Worthing mid week - it's so obvious promotion chasing teams just want out of this competition

Combine it with the League Cup for a start, then more weekends for league fixtures

Cannot be done as they are run by different bodies the FA Cup is highlight for the FA and the League Cup is run by the EFL as their cup.

Something has to be done about the fa cup, no idea what though

Play it on the international break weeks, first game on the Saturday, replays if needed on the Tuesday/Wednesday

Take the champions league spot given to fourth place in the league and give it to the winners of the cup would be my suggestion. Not sure that would have affected how the likes of us, Leeds, Newcastle approached it but might make the bigger boys put out stronger sides.
