Bloody lovely day spent down there in the sunshine.

Made me laugh to hear Rana call our hero "Little Mush"

What a wonderful day out at the county ground to mark the 1st day of the season

Shame the new decking is only for the dexters restaurant

the cricket was great, mushy  , monty 50:bowdown:

apart from the cricket, the plus side, the catering is amazing - all new posher food including home made pizza, new burger company where all produce comes from local farms, and the best bit - the hog roast roll - french stick or roll filled with pork, the crackling, stuffing and apple sauce :clap2: :clap2:

the down side   the pick n mix stand:angry:  £1.50 for 100g of sweets, especially when you have no real concept of how much is in your bag, so i innocently filled almost quarter of my bag with all sorts and it came to :censored: £5.50:censored:

didnt stop Tommy's Fraser and Elphick stuffing their bags AND get a HUGE bag of candy floss!!!

Ken Barnard too!

The Table at the end of Day One:-

Durham 4
Yorkshire 4
Sussex 3
Warwickshire 3
Worcestershire 3
Surrey 2
Kent 1
Lancashire 1
Hampshire 0

Adams is to blame for our pitiful third place. How the hell did he allow Kent to win the toss?

What's Lancashires excuse? was it raining today up north?
Doesn't look like that ... they're playing in Birmingham.

I think it's more to do with Warwickshire scoring bucket loads of runs and Lancashire not having the bowling strength to get many wickets.

But there may be another explanation that only a Lancastrian understands.

Excellent, thanks. I remember it used to be about 5pm, but I thought they had changed it.

Edit: Shite - I am probably working late tomorrow. Arse!

I will purchase mine sometime next week, after I get paid.

Strangely enough I drink with the bloke doing the catering and what not at the County Ground, he's a top bloke even if he is a Yorkshireman.
