Marvellous stuff. How I wish I could have witnessed the Lancashire reaction at the fall of Cork's wicket. It sounds BEAUTIFUL.

You have to feel a bit sorry for them so close but not quite.

Huge cheer in the Hut house when he was out on the TV

Great effort boys.

A thrilling end to the season. Looks like Surrey timed it just right.

But please - no more John Lees singing!

"So disappointing,

Next year, weather permitting"

According to a poster on that forum

Just got back from my quick sprint to the County Ground. I got there 5 minutes before the final wicket went down.

Truly....marvellous scenes. A fitting end to the career of Monty and a fitting farewell to Rana. I would love to have stayed longer and necked some Harveys, but I had to give the car back to my sister.

I'm not in the least bit interested in cricket and I really feel I'm missing out on mad hysterical celebrations here:down: Well done Sussex

Just back from the County Ground, what a great day!

Got down there at 10am, saw Sussex win then caught the train to the Tap for 1pm. Headed down to Hove station, then onto the ground, after the Albion match to celebrate the last two wickets and see the trophy presentation!
