Not sure how Essex have lost all their games. They have a quality line up. I would agree we could do with rain.

I think Bruce is the Sussex chap. He's done a few T20s. Always a good listen. It's the Essex chap who doesn't seem to realise he's on with someone else. It's very rare for a commentator to pierce my sensitivities, but he's just too much.

I’d develop Crocombe in short form, in his place.

That's the thing really. Sussex have been poor tonight, but Essex are a very capable line up.

I always think of T20 as being defined more by the teams that won't win it rather than those who could (10 different winners in the last 11 years). Essex aren't in that category.
