He’s got the full range of shots. his cover drive is a thing of beauty. Also a great slip fielder. and leadership potential.
Obviously the problem is he doesn’t stay in long enough and gets bogged down. But I can see why Farbs wants to give him every opportunity.

Apparently McAndrew is playing! No Carson. Sussex definitely posted a team card without McAndrew!

Alas, a brilliant knock from Coles gives Sussex a competitive score. Will be interesting to see how Coles is used as a bowler without Carson and the short boundary.

I guess, if he gets bogged down but also don't stay in very long, we can at least say that his main flaws largely cancel each other out.
