I agree with this, with the exception of Surrey. as ever, on paper, they have the strongest team.T20 is an absolute lottery. Eleven different winners since 2010. So the answer is as good as anyone and no better than anyone. Except for Derbyshire, perhaps.
Such a shame they haven't won it since the first one in 2003I agree with this, with the exception of Surrey. as ever, on paper, they have the strongest team.
It’s actually something of an achievement given the talent and resources that go into their team.Such a shame they haven't won it since the first one in 2003![]()
I've never had an issue with Hampshire. I know the media has done its best to create a rivalry, but there really isn't one. I'd love to see a Championship match at Arundel. They're like a friendly neighbour. As long as the South Group maintains its boot on the throat of the North Group where it belongs then I don’t mind
(Not you Surrey)
(Or you, Hampshire)
I can't stand Hampshire.I've never had an issue with Hampshire. I know the media has done its best to create a rivalry, but there really isn't one. I'd love to see a Championship match at Arundel. They're like a friendly neighbour.
I was born in Surrey, taken to Hampshire after 10 days, and 5 weeks later farmed out to Sussex. I have an affinity with N E Hampshire. Surrey, I have an unfathomable loathing for. Too big, too cosmetic, too yuppies and coke, too, just, no.
I don’t agree with you; Hants v Sussex is a very long running rivalry. My Dad (aged 93) dislikes them because of how they used to ‘Lord it over us’ when he was young and my Grandad felt the same. I also recall Barry Richards and Gordon Greenidge (arguably the best opening pair in county cricket history) pulverising our bowling in my formative years.I've never had an issue with Hampshire. I think rivalries are more down to the mind of the individual. Your Dad is a cricket fan for over 80 years doubtlessI don’t agree with you; Hants v Sussex is a very long running rivalry. In recent times, it’s Hampshire that has hosted Test matches and a T20 franchise and has sold itself to an overseas company. So I enjoy us beating them more than anyone else, even Surrey. Having said all that, it’s cricket rather than football so we can appreciate good play by the opposition at all times!
Couple of really decent line ups there is that. I'm not surprised you had an enjoyable time.I went to the one in 2007.
Fantastic few days out. First innings Warne got 5 for 91, Mushy got 7 for 72.
I suspect it will be a lot more than that. I can't find info to say how many though. It's normally a couple per set.Are Sky really only scheduled to show two Blast games?
