Rape of Hastings, Sussex
Highest ever List A score at Hove. Previous best was Middlesex's 400-4 last year.

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
That went well.....

Not sure where to start with the one-day campaign.
Suffice to say, we are weak in every department.

It is not surprising he is willing to walk out.
It’s an impossible job at Sussex.
You plug one hole and another appears.
Not sure that any holes have been plugged. 3rd rate loan bowlers for 2/3 matches isn’t the answer.

The odd cameo performance from Carter, Coles, Clark, Haines, H-P and Alsop won’t get us anywhere.

There’s only Pujara.

And what a waste of time/money Smith was.

Not sure that Farbrace has improved anything other than highlighting and consolidating our position as a 3rd rate Div 2 team, in all forms.

Not sure if Finn's contract expires at the end of the season but if it does, surely that won't be renewed and will free up some decent money in the wages budget.

There has been progress in the championship - we are much harder to beat .
Fair enough though, he has hardly turned the ship around.
Who could?

Agreed. After the recent poor performances in the 50 overs comp my Sussex glass is less than half full. We’ve done ok in the Championship, haven’t lost and with 3 matches left could still finish 2nd. However our bowling attack is so weak that we could lose all 3 and only be saved from the wooden spoon by Yorks’ points deduction.
