Well, I think the time has come for me let out why Brighton will always be scum in my eyes.

I first noticed around 1995, that their fans were quite a bloodthirsty violent bunch, particularly in the final game of the 95/96 season when they all stormed the Goldstone pitch in the game against York, which was later replayed on a Thursday I think with an 11am kick off, York won 3-1. I think they thought a pitch invasion may have stopped their confirmed relegation, they are "the Albion" afterall.

Then the next season after that, again their brainless fans stormed the Goldstone pitch in a 3-2 midweek defeat to Lincoln City. Afterwards I believe they were deducted two points for this. But their fans gave it all the biggun of "we're the Albion, we don't deserve this, purely because we're Brighton and you're not" What an arrogant bunch of supporters I thought, surely you knew you was going to be punished heavily by running on the pitch, after what happened against York only a few months earlier???? Thankfully when we played them for Peter Shiltons 1,000th game there was no pitch invasion, but they did bring with them high levels of smug.

A couple of months later was the exciting 4-4 draw at the Goldstone, which was overshadowed by Brighton fans attacking our players on the pitch and even Orient fans outside the ground after the game - disgraceful. Scum if you will.

Then in January 1998 the 3-1 Orient win at Brisbane Road, Colin Simpson scores Orients 3rd - Brighton fans attempt to invade the pitch, but are held back by police and stewards - disgraceful.

Then in the FA Cup first round which we won 4-2, Soon after Tony Richards made it 4-1, Brighton fans attempt to jump into our North terrace and attack innocent Orient fans, women children and families - disgraceful.

These are only the bigger incidents that happened, I hear there was also several more incidents involving Brighton fans at our games down the years.

Also try talking to any Brighton fan, they have got to be the most big headed and most smug supporters I've ever met. "We're the Albion" blah blah blah "We deserve success just because we're called Brighton" - Just look at the way Berkshire Seagull goes off on here, he is the typical smug Brighton fan that you will meet.

Getting the train back to London last season after we lost 4-1, I said to a Brighton fan on the train, "well I guess we'll see you in January" his exact response was: "No chance, WE'RE THE ALBION, WE'LL BE IN THE 3RD ROUND OF THE CUP BY THEN BECAUSE WE'RE THE ALBION" I just smirked and thought, Brighton fans will always be the same arrogant smug scumbags. He was right though, but he is still scum.

So this pretty much sums up why I dislike Brighton so much and their supporters, they are all complete scum - that also includes the ones who post on here, as far as I'm concerned they are all the same. I've never met one decent Brighton fan and as far as I'm concerned I never will, nor will anyone else for that fact. If you speak to one of them for five minutes you will see how smug and full of themselves they really are. Just read their message board, the level of smug on it is laughable, according to it, they deserve instant success for purely being called Brighton & Hove Albion.

Don't get me wrong though, on the pitch under the circumstances they've done extremely well over the last 6 years, they deserve alot of credit for that.

But they have and always will be SCUM OF THE HIGHEST, THAT INCLUDES EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEIR SUPPORTERS.

In an "ALBION" fans eyes, they will never do no wrong.

Oh and we'll lose 3-1.

AHAHAHAHAHA

I dont know where to start. How about.. deluded!

He doesn't even call us gay?!

That's exactly the reason, well done that man

There's one Orient supporter I remember with some amusement.

We were playing them at the Priestfield and the trains to Gillingham were being disrupted by engineering works. This meant a replacement bus service between Rochester and Gillingham.

Everyone packed on to the bus, Albion and Orient supporters together. Naturally enough, the singing started.

After several rousing renditions of GOSBTS, there was a brief silence - just long enough to allow a young lad, aged about seven, with a red and white bobble hat, to start a very squeaky, solo chant of ... "Stand up if you hate West Ham".

Marvellous scenes.

What an ill informed fellow. The concept that the pitch invasions were just for the hell of it or because we're "brainless" is quite laughable.

"In an "ALBION" fans eyes, they will never do no wrong."

Quality double negative there.

Yeah, and as I remember, their chairman wanted us to be kicked out of the league...I still get mad whenever I see him on the telly, chuck the tosser on the same bonfire as Archer and Belotti.

I love that bit! I like the way that it implies that it attacking the players is fine but having the audacity to have a punch up outside the ground is an outrage.

I must confess some bad news. I recently found out that my family on my Dad's side are all Eastenders. They were from the Leyton/Stratford/Plaistow area. I lived there myself for a year, so I was fully aware of the shame that this brings. Still, I was able to cheer myself up in the knowledge that my Granddad had the good sense to move south and he and his family all had the good taste to be West Ham
