how would you suggest i amend a silly poll that is obvious from the off its not serious, to one that gives better options to reflect the slightly more complex issues certainly not up for discussion on this joke poll as mentioned in the first sentence?
You ask the question - "Student protesters right or wrong?"
Whether it's "a silly poll that is obvious from the off its (sic) not serious" or not the question you are asking covers a multitude of student protesters, some with good intention and others without good intention. Perhaps you should have asked a different question if you are referring to the violent protesters as I guess you're not referring to the majority of the well-behaved peaceful protesters who haven't been given much publicity?
Nothing wrong with protesting but plenty wrong when it turns into a riot, and no I don't accept it was the police's fault. I'd like to lob a pool ball at the cnuts who thought it was ok to throw them at horses btw.
Other than that RIGHT
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Right.
This could be the thin end of the wedge. You could easily see Dave, Nick and Gideon saying in four years time that we should extend fees to sixth formers, secondary and then primary school kids.
If someone is successful at Uni then they do pay extra tax, it is called the higher rate.
Everybody seems to tar all students as a result of the actions of a tiny minority. They have the right to protest, end of. Anyone who engages in criminality deserves the full weight of the law against them. There are sometimes innocent victims but then the simple answer is that you put distance between you and those causing trouble. Go back to the 70s and 80s and it was always obvious who was going to cause trouble at football. If you didn't want to get involved then you moved away. If you stood around to watch and got clobbered then that's the chance you took.
for the simple reason that i think life will be funner if, after every government decision, everyone went this APESHIT about it
If you are going to protest then you have to get dirty.
The poll tax wasn`t changed because people danced around in the streets in any sort of peaceful protest was it ?
Once the Goldstone had been LEGALLY SOLD, maybe we should have just accepted the goings on by the people in charge and just turned up at the York game and had a little moan to the chap standing next to us.
The law was broken that day and everytime somebody ran on to the pitch.
f*** it, you have to do something to raise the profile.
I`m with the students for demonstrating. The Liberals have blatently lied and cheated their way into office and its pissed a lot of people off, not just students. I despair at some of the comment on here about students and their dreams of a university education.
Ridiculous courses, lazy students, pay their way etc Its all soundbites with no real substance to any of the arguements.
So we subsidise our childrens education, so ? Thats the way a right and proper society works.
When does a youngsters education end ? 14, 16, 18, 21 ?
Tripling of fees is not the way forward and we`ll just go back in time to when only the elite went to university.
These cuts are because of the way a few blocks of London`s financial district f***ed everyone over with their greed and unlegislated selfishness.
Students first, then wait for he next bits. Othes on here will be hit soon and then wait for the grizzling.
Then some big eared twat with his bird covered in furs and jewels gets a bit of grief as he goes orf to the theatre. CUTS............. f***ing start with that **** fist.
