they're a couple now, apparantly  :albion2:

No, I don't agree with bushy on a number of issues, but do understand his perspective, even though I think it is flawed. He will go at length to explain his viewpoint.

Das Reich is just a wannabe hooligan with a 100% racist agenda, who is incapable of a post that goes further than a enigmatic half a dozen words and a smilie.

You're flattering Das Reich again.

Indeed. He's just plain old thick (and racist) isn't he?

if you're including me in this simply because I have a concerns over if they could ever really get a "fair" trial then I shall be most displeased.

It refers to anyone that judges people by the colour of their skin - only you know that - This may surprise a few but I actually agree with SOME of what Bushy is trying to infer. Its difficult to not to have known some of the case detail and therefore be completely able to not think about the accused BUT (and this where I suggest you are wrong) if I know a little of the of the case and even with my leanings look subjectively and ask are they guilty on the evidence and statements shown to me I might actually vote not guilty! And if I can do that so can the other jury do so.

Even now I would question how did hairs from Stephen get on their clothes if it was a quick stabbing? was their head contact or did a loose hair somehow fly through the air and on the clothes?

But that doesn't make them innocent and explain all the other evidence - the most damming thing for me is so many of their community rang up to say it was them.

As I said the joke is someone trying to make out they have been hard done by!

I'd prefer not to risk my prejudices and would (I hope) have disqualified myself. I thought they were guilty (as I think the others are) before the trial started and if that shouldn't disqualify me I don't know what should.

I'm as pinko a liberal as you'll find anywhere.

I'm happy Norris and Dobbs are going to be locked up for many years.

But the chances of these scumbags getting a fair trial was zero.

This should never have come to court again imo.

I am glad they have been banged up finally and I hope the rest are rounded up.

What I find more difficult in all of this is how values change - at the time an horrendous racialist crime yet today we don't even bad an eyelid at how the youths of today kill each other on a very regular basis mainly through gang warfare which is so sad.

Agreed, it's still happening on a regular basis!! So we havent really learnt anything from this!!! Hopefully, they can get the rest of them who were involved now!!!

Why not? Things have moved on and technology supposedly is good enough to find blood samples that could not be found 18 years ago?

So If DNA evidence could now prove the guilt of someone who had not been to trial before should they be let off as the evidence was not available when they committed it?

Whats to celebrate? A couple of gangland hoods got their just deserts over a gang murder, happens quite a lot.

If you think anyone should celebrate an Idolitus show trial thats the totem of a political agenda I would encourage people not to celebrate. Just be pleased some scumbags are behind bars.

Absolutely This.
