The Avenue then Maloncho
I don’t really listen to the radio to be honest apart from a bit of R6 I usually put my own stuff on.
The Mrs likes Radio X if she’s driving but feckin ell they can’t go ten minutes without putting on the Poo Fighters or talking about Oasis.

I could have chosen any Steel Panther song but settled on this one for the lyric "I'll kiss your mouth, Even after you swallow my load"

Black Man Ray by China Crisis. Brilliant song but is it not played for the obvious reason?

I was thinking of posting a track by Anal ****, but they are shit so what's the point?

I won't post a link but 'Give Ireland Back to the Irish' by Paul McCartney was banned.
Very odd lyrics for what is basically a typical Macca kids nursery rhymey ditty (it is shit).

One that should have been banned but wasn't is Walk on the Wild Side.
The BBC censors didn't know what 'giving head' means. :lolol:

If I remember, McCartney was so pissed off that Give Ireland back to the Irish was banned, he wrote and released Mary had a little lamb. A song so banal, that it couldn’t possibly be banned.
It should have been banned, for being bloody awful.

He also had Hi, Hi, Hi, banned at about the same time.

An artist who succeeded over many decades in releasing nothing I found remotely listenable.
What with that, and Lennon's fake 'peace and love' bollocks,
my childhood fondness for the Beatles was destroyed in the 70s.
They are one of only two acts I eventually took off my iPod. The other being Deke Leonard.
So there you have it. McCartney and Lennon, as shit as Deke Leonard.
