That takes me back, I supported Moose at the Zap back in the day.

it is highly likely that I paid good money to hang around the bar during your performance. Nodding sagely and telling my slack jawed, curtain haired friends that there was more to a gig than the headline act ............. 20+ years later they still don't understand.

This song makes me grateful to be alive, and wonder whether anyone will miss me when I'm dead.

I concur with your thoughts about this and this was proven at the last gig I went to. (Aussie band called Millions supporting Peace)

Not often proven by my band on the early 90s though I fear.

Don't know how to post it, but for melancholy lifting in to joy:

Queen and the Japanese influenced Teo Torriate. Possibly a forgotten gem.

What was your band called, Badfish? Or were they called Badfish? I like to listen to the support bands, but the odds are always stacked against them.

Christ, 30 years on, and this song still brings a lump to my throat:

Because the world is cruel and
Promises are broken
Don't try to tell me
Anything don't try to tell me
You'll be true to me you know the
Real truth is never spoken
And I know the world is cold but
If you hold on tight to what you
Find you might not mind too much though
Even this must pass away and
Memories may last for years but
Names are just for souvenirs
Some kind of angel let me
Look into your eyes
Don't give me whys and wherefores
Reason or surprise
I don't care for words that don't belong
And I don't care what you're called
Tell me later if at all
I can wait a long long time
Before I hear another love song
