Hither (sometimes Thither)
I was thinking this morning about an inside trouser lining that could be brimming with a delightful warm fluid to the wearer's taste. Ok there'd have to be a space for movement of liquid around the buttocks and privates to prevent singeful burstings each time one sat, but overall, i rather like the idea of everything in my lower half being warmed through winter at the Amex, whilst a hot brew i suckle from the beteeted tube attached to the cuff of my strides.

'Incoming flack' becomes 'Incoming flask'.

That went off like a bomb on the left side of the terrace :lolol: after falling from the upper tier.

I jumped back to avoid the shower of glass. Just a bit of advice, don't drop a vacuum flask from a height.

I'd imagine it was a total accident since from my experience flask users tend to be terribly sensible.

Obviously not this class of flask :albion2:

On a serious note, I just hope the contents of said flask were not similar to the hot drinks served at the Goldstone. The one occasion that I bought a Bovril there turned out to be a gigantic brown bogey in a beaker of boiling hot water.

Had this happened yesterday Griffin Park would have been sealed off, and the fine officials of Porton Down would be examining the contents of the flask as we speak. It just doesn't bear thinking about.

The flask landed just in front of me. I failed to notice it as was celebrating the goal. It was only when 3 stewards "surrounded" the screw on lid and I thought they were going to rope it off and call the bomb squad. I have to say that I was amazed at the amount of the glass that the flask left, there were quite a few kids near us so glad nobody got hit by the shards of glass.

You must have been close to us. It exploded just to my right. A couple of kids, 5 or 6 years old had been standing where the flask fell nearly all match, trying to peer over the wall. Saw the base of flask sitting on the pitch at the very end.
Strange day, where we were standing found 60p lying on the ground. Picked it up and gave it to a lad nearby. He was chuffed. (Wonder if Ernest lost 60p?)

I've come back home.
Slightly off topic but Mr Celebration the Elder and I were stood on the terraces on the lower west at the goldstone with our backs to the wall that then had the posh git seating area above and behind. Said wall was an obvious place to put your half time coffee. At the start of one second half a coffee was knocked off and all over my dad...I have never seen a man dance so much like a scalded cat since.
