That went off like a bomb on the left side of the terrace :lolol: after falling from the upper tier.

I jumped back to avoid the shower of glass. Just a bit of advice, don't drop a vacuum flask from a height.

I'd imagine it was a total accident since from my experience flask users tend to be terribly sensible.

I guess the MUG who dropped it was either fat or ginger.

Flustered ? It was like Platoon downstairs. Imagine the carnage if it had contained Bovril or the potential shrapnel injuries from Cream of Chicken ?

Cream of chicken shrapnel? Vegetable soup would have been like a nail bomb in comparison!

Not if they hit you on the flipping head!

Each to his own if you decide to employ a flask as a weapon. This was very much shock and awe. I guess you would cause panic with a glass based one then pick off the fleeing individuals with stainless steel.

In answer to Enda's question above it was EMPTY.

OMG! Every home game I have my rucksack checked and, as I open it to the friendly steward, I cheerily say 'just a few sweets and a flask'. Will I still be allowed in to the Amex?

I was, yes, by the pillar. One of the arms had snapped off completely I think and the other was bent downwards so it looked like one of those pairs of glasses that pantomime dames hold up to their face  I believe it was Muhammed "I'm hard" Bruce Lee's brother who felt the urge to model them

That was quite amusing! It's ok though as he's going to write to Chris O'Grady and ask him to buy a new pair of glasses.

Flask-Gate.

We must unmask this hooligan.

Surely we should "Unflask" the hooligan..............or is this what happened, The plot thickens ( unlike the contents of the flask )

Great thread.

This 'whodunnit' has all the hallmarks of the Millwall 'Who ate half the pie?' mystery a good few years ago, after a half-eaten balti was thrown at a linesman at the Den.
