Only 2,500 STH got tickets and there are beleived to be 4,500 therefore a shortfall of 2,000 so I would say 50% of them = 1,000 potentially.

Is that 4,500 STH just Full season ticket package or includeing the mini 5 match ST's?

That is based on full renewals however I am not clear what is the correct figure.

What's the source for those figures? I thought STH got prioirity on half the tickets; that wouldn't necessarily mean that they didn't get a ticket if they weren't allocated a priority one.

Surely we didn't actually limit the number of STH who got tickets.

No source, a calculated guess by me which could have been entirely wrong.

However there were 5000 tickets split 50 / 50 between STH / AMS.

Yes of course STH were limited - why do you think I and many other STH did not get one ?

The club reckoned that as the majority of people who attend Withdean are season ticket holders and that they fail to make any noise but moan all the time they would try and encourage a more vociferous type of fan.................. ie THE NOISY AMS BOYS.

I will probably renew because I love the albion so much, but I want to make a point to the administration of this club! It's catch 22. But all I can say that it is getting more and more attractive not to: ground is'nt sold out, shoddy treatment of STH etc, etc.....

And I know some season ticket holders who have tickets, have written to the club coplaining about the current ticketing policies.

The Noisy AMS boys what the F**K is that all about?

It's quiet at withdean because there is no sodding roof end of!

I go to away games to and make a noise and Im a STH what the hell has AMS got to do with noise or being a STH?

If your suggesting that some AMS members cant be bothered to go to withdean then they are a bunch of w**kers who don't truely support the club were it needs it........ the BANK!

I know of several people who have missed only 2 or 3 games, home and away all season and who have not got tickets. They are all so gutted that they have all sworn that they will not renew for next season but WILL carry on going to away games next season.

This is blatantly wrong and the club need all the sth they can get.
A ams member who goes to 2 or 3 away games a year should never have as good a chance as a sth who might go to 18 away games a year.
I despair of those on here who say that the club cannot please all of the fans. They should please the real fans. Its not rocket science to come up with a fairer system than the one implemented this time around.

The club has already said that 11% of season ticket holders go regularly to away games. That is 440 fans. They sound fairly noisy to me. :jester:

I am getting more and more convinced that there is more to this than meets the eye and there a lot of well pi$$ed of STHs.

What will be interesting is the club reaction to this - will they learn or just bury their heads in the sand and just cross their fingers on STH renewals.

The fact of the matter is STH renewal requests will happen in the not too distant future and this episode will not have been forgotten by those that missed out.

Does anybody know how many AMS there are?
I don't know but would guess that there are over 10,000 as it's a single payment and the scheme has been going several years now. If this is the case then it's inevitable that big games will cause problems as the one or two thousand AMS who watch a number of away games a season are going to be joined by others who don't.
The pity is that there were enough tickets for every regular away AMS and every sth who wanted to go and got their application in by the Swansea game.
This thread is meant to be about the steady erosion of our support which is dropping drastically away from home this season but the WestHam cock up is relevant even though the arguments have been gone over a lot.
It's a depressing topic.

I do feel sorry for some STH's who did'nt get tickets for West Ham, But how many who did'nt go to the 1st and 2nd round games are complaining about not getting automatic right's to tickets for West Ham? I'd like to know. It's like some automatic right that your a STH so you can hold the club to ransom! It's so wrong.
