First, the atmosphere is very good in block h on a good day. secondly, can we all stop insulting eachother, we are supposed to be a community club, and insulting someone with 'spots' and 'claiming' they have never been laid is quite frankly immature, not to mention it is a family forum. And lastly, if you wanna boost the atmposhere, get the singing going in the other blocks too!

The stewards have completely killed the atmosphere. I have sat in h block for years and gradually the stewards have just worn us down.

You could try just watching the game and ignoring the freaks in the unflair hair and orage jacket combo.

I'm in H Block every game and - believe it! - the steward-baiting is PITIFUL to behold:

The whole standing issue is an absolute joke. The rule is applied so inconsistently. I've been to so many away grounds where their fans stand for the whole game with little/no hassle from stewards. Why is it so different at Withdean?? I understand there is a rule about persistent standing, but why are our stewards so much more bothered than most??

The row I sit in has more or less been abandoned by other Albion fans. The seat next to me was even empty for the Manchester City game.

Agree with a lot of that although the stewarding does IMO have a negative effect on atmosphere. When standing is allowed for periods, the atmosphere is generally better.

The best bit about Tuesday was some little kid who looked about the same age as Alfie Patten, in injury time scream "fuuuuuuuuuucccckkkk oooorrrrffffffff you bunch of norrrrvern cuuunnnntttttttttts" at the top of his voice.

Does anyone recall an elderly albion fan (i think he lived up north as i saw him alot at away games up north) in the late 80s early 90s. Who used to start singing give us a B etc, but he would stick his finger in his ear for some reason whislt singing !!
