12 of those and the best one was the Sheffield Wednesday one my memory is very bad but I am pretty sure it was 3-2 and Harry Wilson(H) scored a penalty and the Derby game was I'm sure where Grummit made a world class save

Me too for the big one in 1958 V Fulham. Remember Jimmy Hill and Johnny Haines playing for them. It was so packed that my dad shoved me over the wall at the South stand end with loads of other kids and we all sat on the running track. We had to keep moving whenever someone took a goal kick as there was no room for the goalie to take his run up!

Although the official gate was 36000+, people there reckoned it must have been closer to 40k as loads of people got in by climbing the gates. Think it was boxing day too which probably added to the crowd.

Dec 28th - people were sat on the foof of the Souths Stand!
