Nice riposte. Ignore all my points and use others actions as a defence of your own.

You've got a mind of your own, how are STHs being treated with a total disregard.

It's a simple question.

I think the STH thing is over-played.

Many people never had one at all until the run-up to the first season in the Championship.

It became the only way of guaranteeing not having to spend an hour on the phone trying to get through to the ticket office, or entering some stupid lottery for the right to buy a ticket.

Nowadays I renew, cos, like at the Goldstone, I know and like the people around me at games. If that ever stopped being the case, i'd have no qualms about not renewing.

At no time should 'STH' be waved around like a badge of honour.

Renew. Don't renew. Do what's right for you. The club knew the consequences of not trying very hard to stay in the Championship and will just have to deal with it as best they can. Oh well.

I don't think they have been turned off by the club, I think it is more to do with Falmer Fatigue and being fed up with the poor facilities at Withers.

I can understand people being fed up paying £500 a year for variable quality entertainment, but surely the directors who have stuck £7million into the club feel equally fed up, having to fight against the snipers within the fan base, as well as the likes of Baker and De Vicchi.

Perhaps if I shout:

HOW ARE THE CLUB SHOWING TOTAL DISREGARD FOR STHs?

WOULD YOU CARE TO TELL ME WHERE YOU ARE GUARANTEED WINS AND ATTRACTIVE FOOTBALL BY A MINOR CLUB WITH LITTLE MONEY IN THE 3RD TIER OF ENGLISH FOOTBALL?

and next season can we expect to see Uncle Spiely back at Withdean in his usual seat after yet another display of FLOUNCEBACKABILITY?

As this Falmer bollocks looks set to rumble on well into its second decade, the single smartest investment the club could make is putting a roof on Withdean. Cos 8 years is NOT a temporary home. And there comes a point when even the most loyal supporter has just had enough of being drenched to the skin all Winter, every Winter, while paying twenty five quid for the privilege and while being scowled at by stewards like they were low-level crims. All things considered, it's pretty SHITE.

Are we allowed to build a roof?

Dunno. It's a council sports stadium. Presumably even this country's crap planning laws don't have a law against building a roof on a council sports stadium.

I am afraid they are wasting 2 stamps, I will not be renewing becuase

1. I cannot take another season at Withdean
2. The football this season has been absolutely woeful not only
Albionb but all the oppsoing sides
3. Next season will be another mid division 3 outcome
4. I am not happy with the sacking of McGhee and the appointment of Willkins
5. I have had enough now of Falmer, 8 years and still no decision
6. There is no investment in the playing side and will not be next season
7. The sth's have been treated very badly and the cup game and general total lack of regard for the lifeblood is not on
8. 2 wins out of the last 23 homes games on a Saturday
9. You can pick and chose whatever game you want next season and not spend £ 1000 on 2 st's and if you cannot make a game you cannot even give them away

Apart from that I'd be quite tempted

For someone who I regard as quite "barmy".....I regret to say that I agree with 8 out of the 9 points you have made.Unless something quite dramatic happens on the transfer front etc during the next three days......they needn,t bother sending me a renewal form either. Even with new players etc though, I,ve had enough of the poor seating facilities at Withdean, and quite honestly....had enough of Dick Knight too.

A 7 and a half hour queue to secure my Cardiff play off ifnals with all the other people who had seen 1 game in the last 5 years was one point, the West Ham ticket fiasco , the fact sth's are not valued higher than the 1 game every 2 years gloryhunter. Still each to their own

I hate to say this but Ruth Kelly will probably say ok, its 1 all with the PE's , I can;t decide I will bottle it and call for a 3rd PE, lets call it best of 3, by then the tories will be in charge and som, eone else will probably stick their nose in

If you had got out of bed earlier that Saturday you would have only queued for 90 minutes instead of 7 and a half.
I got to the club shop at 8am and had all my tickets and train tickets done and dusted by 9.30.

now who's claiming superfan status?

You got your ticket for a final that happened 3 years ago and the West Ham game and that's it?

That's the TOTAL DISREGARD?

That's it?

Really, is that it?

Tell me what system would have been equitable to all deserving fans for the West Ham game?

Are you also telling me that STHs don't get priority to away games because if you try I think I'll quote your 'whoopy-f***ing-do' comment about Orient.

Get a grip man. If you want to renew then renew. If you don't then don't. Just don't try the TOTAL DISREGARD argument because it's crap.

Have you any IDEA how long it takes to pore over the Racing Post each morning and yet still find nags that are on a one way journey to the glue factory that are running in the 2.15 at Sandown?

But you came on one of your racing tips, and were lapped on the journey to the ticket office by Steven Hawking and Thora Hird in a Stanna Stairlift.

point 4 is bollocks , although I always considered Mcghee a decent manager he'd run out of ideas, & point 7 why should sth get prioroty for an away game.

As for the rest , congratulations, youve just chalked up a victory for ldc & the nimby's. Turning the fans against the board, the club & each other is a major part of their campaign. So what if we have a couple of mid table seasons? I bet you didn't expect the success that has come our way over the last 8 years, in fact judging by your tips I'm sure you didn't. At the end of the day we've all stuck with the Albion through thin & thinner, in a few months we should have the right decision on Falmer ( we should have bulldozers on standby & move them in immediatly) & everything will look a lot rosier. It's a bit late to give up now.

Could not agree more and I will not be getting one either. The 6 I sit next to are not going to either.
