Could not agree more and I will not be getting one either. The 6 I sit next to are not going to either.

Nice one.

Like Yorkie, Wanderbus and others have said: don't let LDC et al win.

As for US...

I tell you what, I really can't be bothered with a riposte to Jonny Attention-Seeker.

I have much better things to do.

A 7 and a half hour queue to secure my Cardiff play off ifnals with all the other people who had seen 1 game in the last 5 years was one point
f*** ME SIDEWAYS!

The REASON the queue was unnecessarily long for the play-off tickets was that YOU put a message on NSC to the effect that EVERYONE should get themselves into the queue as quickly as possible, because tickets would sell out by mid-day.

This was picked up by fans all over Brighton and by the local media - who put out more or less the same message.

Meanwhile ... on a mobile phone somewhere at Withdean, the Chief Executive of the Albion was trying to contact the NSC moderators to get the panic started by Uncle Spielberg calmed down - so that all the mayhem could be avoided.

At the end of the day (or to be more accurate, at the end of the following week), tickets for the game were STILL available to anyone who wanted them.

And NOW YOU HAVE THE NERVE TO BLAME THE CLUB.

Judging by the queues at Withdean , up the hill , down the car park to the Sportsman, round the car park twice, out of the car park and up Valley Drive ! and also up and around the back roads at Queens Road the whole 31000 will go TODAY !.

There must be several thousand queueing at Withdean alone and if everyone gets 5 tickets on average thats the lot gone.

I have left my mate at Queens Road at 10.00am to go back and join him at 12.

I know someone at Withdean who started queueing at 7.45 and he is still not at the turnstiles at 10.50 am.

It is not a matter of LDC winning. I have just lost heart in our battle and fed up with being treated like shit as a STH. WHat is the point of renewing? There is not one. You will be able to get tickets easy enough next season and there are no perks. This season I could have got a scarf for free and a tenner of a shirt both of which I already own so what incentive is there. I have missed at least 4 games this year due to being ill so have spent more than the discounted amount you get a ticket for.
If LDC win then so be it. I have just had enough now. I did not think I would ever say that but I just can't take any of this anymore

I am afraid they are wasting 2 stamps, I will not be renewing becuase

1. I cannot take another season at Withdean
2. The football this season has been absolutely woeful not only
Albionb but all the oppsoing sides
3. Next season will be another mid division 3 outcome
4. I am not happy with the sacking of McGhee and the appointment of Willkins
5. I have had enough now of Falmer, 8 years and still no decision
6. There is no investment in the playing side and will not be next season
7. The sth's have been treated very badly and the cup game and general total lack of regard for the lifeblood is not on
8. 2 wins out of the last 23 homes games on a Saturday
9. You can pick and chose whatever game you want next season and not spend £ 1000 on 2 st's and if you cannot make a game you cannot even give them away

Apart from that I'd be quite tempted
Sorry but you are the biggest canute on nsc please flounce off again or better still become a Chelsea fan.

How?

As US seems to be silent perhaps you can explain how STHs are treated with TOTAL DISREGARD.

FFS - we are so close to getting Falmer, people.

Don't give two hoots about STH renewing or not-renewing. Their self-righteousness is quite sickening at times IMHO.

I'm just worried about Albion fans no longer going to home games.

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
I'm probably one of the few people who has never really bothered that much about the facilities, I was relatively happy in the North Stand at the start of Withers sitting with my folks.

Gradually it is the product on display that has got worse and worse while the price has crept up, McGhees comments about games being worthless struck a nerve, more and more of my friends have drifted away, and I actually enjoy my football more than ever cherry picking the games both home and away that are convenient for me and doing other things on Saturday, particularly golf which has kept me in touch with many faces I would have seen at games, but like me have drifted away.

I reckon last year I saved well over £1000 not going week in week out and I cant ever see me justifying that again unless the product regardless of where it is played improved, sure I would go to Falmer more than I go now, but I still cant see me ever becoming a STH again and most friends in the same boat feel the same.

US has excelled himself today - I suspect a flounce will be in order.

i didnt get a ticket for the west ham game , but as i have said on here before that did not bother me! but i know quite a few people who did and have not visited the withdean this season.
if you go to an away game then that is not putting money in to the club! and to come to the next game against millwall where they were handing out scarfs free to people who bought 1 match ticket but were charging 2pound 50p for sths was wrong. again the scarf thing didnt bother me as i have quite a collection but the concept was wrong and in my opinion uncle s post was spot on!

There isn't and I really could not give a flying fig as to what other fans think of STH to be honest.

The fact of the matter was the club made a huge error and this will contribute to lack of STH along with vaious other points raised.

I wonder whether the club will actually take the corrective action and replace those people in the commercial department ?

This is the most worrying thing, watching the Albion every week is a habit, and more and more people are giving it up, a bit like smoking and masturbating over the underwear section of a Grattan's catalogue.

It is difficult to justify watching the Albion, we will not play in the top flight again ever IMO, as the finances will never be in place, and the alternatives are a lot cheaper and less damp.

It is sad though, as we all love the club.

I think you are confusing fact and opinion.

The facts are that as a STH you had a 78% of a WHU ticket, and AMS member had a 33% chance of a ticket.

This means that some people who in your opinion are undeserving got a ticket, and you didn't.

There are more important issues surrounding the club and it's future, such as whether the money will run out before a new stadium is built.
