It was clear by the start of November last season that we were not going to get into the top six. Sami was indicating he might be prepared to leave and TB plays poker professionally. There was still plenty of time to appoint another manager and stay up if Sami was given a few weeks to realise if he wanted to go he would have to resign without a pay off.

Not sure what you're saying, but if it's that Sami could have stayed longer and we wouldn't have been relegated I'd disagree totally. If it wasn't for the points NJ got us and the small recovery that followed we'd be in L1 now

He offered to resign twice and was twice turned down. The third time, the club reluctantly accepted.

Don't exaggerate. We didn't go 3 goals down in any game.

I think you're over complicating it. I think it was:
Step 1 - tell two fullbacks to do everything
Step 2 - everyone else mill around
Step 3 - give a Sami motivational talk (with arms crossed looking at own shoes)
