Crystal Palace manager Steve Kember has branded Sheffield United counterpart Neil Warnock 'a prat' after the Blades boss refused to shake his hand following Tuesday night's clash between the sides.
Warnock's men claimed a narrow 2-1 victory from an action-packed encounter at Selhurst Park that saw Palace relinquish their 100 percent start to the season.
However, Kember was incensed that his opposite number chose not to acknowledge him after the game, and also slammed United's tactics.
"He was giving it the old Big Time Charlie. He can't help being a prat. He didn't want to shake hands,” stormed Kember.
"They were under orders. They kept slowing the game down by throwing balls onto the pitch.
”It certainly leaves a bit of a bad taste, and Warnock wonders why people don't like him?"
However, Warnock insisted he had not intentionally snubbed the Eagles' chief, and was merely celebrating his side's success.
"It wasn't intentional. I was just punching the air after we had won.
”There is something wrong with you if you don't celebrate a win like that. But I would not do that to any manager."
