Hang on, now cricinfo are saying that a few balls are lifting off a length. Is the pitch playing up or not?

Both bowlers have got the ball launching all over the place, bouncing high, fast and causing problems. I have only seen since lunch but would be pleased if we get 250.

As for the wicket have heard nothing about how it will play. Looks like they may have prepared it for a result either way (makes sense if you are SA).

Morkel is getting great bounce but that could be more down to his height rather than the pitch. Will know more after Kallis has bowled a few

Hey, at least this test series is nice and dynamic. You never know, we could have the Saffers all gone for less than 200 when they bat.


(Though what normally happens in these situations is they breeze past our score with no wickets down in about 15 overs)

Swanny's our last hope for this innings. He's capable of getting a quick 30-40 maybe even 50.

Broad's just hit 2 consecutive 4's, but doesn't look comfortable
