So we are left with........
Dunk. - fit but subject to transfer speculation
Goldson. - not fit. Minor injury so should get a pre-season in.
Hunemeier - not fit until early September
Hall. - untried and untested 19 year old
Not overly auspicious. Mind you, Greer hadn't got himself fixed up yet. Could do a job?

That's my take on it too. It's going to be a long hard season, and with possible injuries and suspensions I feel he will get the chance to play plenty of minutes in the first team, either at full back or centre half.
It's all about the fee though. I certainly wouldn't be prepared to pay over the odds for him.
I also like he's got out of this division as a captain. Huge bonus in my thinking. He's a leader as was Greer

Martin for me would be a signing similar to that one of Rosenior, just with a fee as he is not out of contract.
Both have similar career paths with significant time in the top flight.

Have just heard that Russell Martin has left norwich's pre season tour of Austria to see a specialist over a back injury.
Or is he having a medical somewhere.

This is definitely true as I just watched Air Ambulance UK and it was in Norwich and there was a bloke in a Norwich shirt.
