QPRs legal team (which they no longer need, having gone and got themselves promoted).

It will be interesting if they go and get relegated again.

TB is perfectly within his rights to sell the club if/when he finds year-on-year operational losses unacceptable, or if he just gets disillusioned at the negativity from the club's fanbase. Who could blame him really, on either score? Good news for us is, he built it, he can't unbuild it. There will continue to be, for the foreseeable future, a football club for the people of Brighton & Hove, Sussex and beyond. Which is all we ever asked for. We go again!

I've often wondered if all of the money is his. Does he have private backers behind the scenes?

This has been floated before, but I can't see it. What's in it for them?

Its really a dreadful proposition from a purely business point of view. You can rationalise Bloom throwing his cash at it, becasue of his family history. Why would anyone else?

The rest of the extended family?

I always find it a tough ask to believe one man funded an all but guaranteed loss making venture to the tune of £100+m.

There's not much left to build off the pitch. On the pitch you could throw millions and millions at it and still not get promoted.
If we do go up there is a limit to how far we can go.
people would have said the same about Chelsea a few years back

Possibly (and I have no evidence for this) the club could have been sold for a profit if we had got into the prem within 2 or 3 years of the Amex being built. The longer we are not in the prem, the liklihood of any profit being possible become less likely as you have to factor in the on going losses.

Maybe we are at a point where someone wants out for a small profit or break even figure. All this is just speculation by me.

Huge estate, near Rogate / Stedham. I think they call it Fining Hill. He (Kerry Packer) built a world class polo centre there, lived there for about 10 years, then got bored and sold it all to Abramovich. I think they sold up in about 2008. Something like that anyway.

Fyning Hill estate was sold by Kerry Packer to Abramovich for £12m way back in 1999.

He doesn't exactly seek publicity, does he? I can't imagine it would be that hard to stay out of those lists if you wanted to.

The same can be said of lots of other buyers though. What is in it for that mad-man at Leeds for example? I must admit on balance I reckon everything is as we have been led to believe but there is a small part of me which does question where all of the money has come from.

Some rich people like to mention how wealthy they are and leave a money trail because they think it makes them important , some rich people like to keep their financial affairs as private as possible.

It's natural to question and we wouldn’t be human if we didn’t.

Yeah that's a faIr comment! However the rich list is drawn up by Forbes who pretty much have a good clue who has earned what.

Besides Lord Bashford isnt exactly a media magnet either and he is top of the list for the uk.

Come to think of it, have you ever heard of Gina Rinehart?

Nope me neither..........but she was the worlds richest women in 2012 but has now dropped to 4th richest. But you already knew that because that list is full of people telling the world about themselves and there wealth.
