Nestling in green nowhere
Stopped in a pub in Haslar before a Pompey game. Ended up getting attacked with pool cues and pint glasses and my mates car got booted to shit as we made our escape.

Landlord probably saved our lives.

Gone to Man U away a few times, normally try to stay out of the pubs full of Londeners (which there are many) and have a bit of banter with the mancs although a couple of times have picked the wrong pub and as someone said above was happy to see the coppers for once.

Milwall away I think most Northern clubs pre-set a pub as been there a few times and always told to meet at one set pub where the police will meet you, then escort through London Bridge to 1 train sat waiting for away fans, we used to meet in one down an old courtyard, one of the nicest around LB in reality but if you go to LB before the meet (as we did coming in from Battle) as soon as they clocked a few of us in red they asked if we were away fans and told is in no certain terms what pub we should be going to and not to get on any other trains to the den.

Away days, got to love em

I remember going to a pub in Plymouth, went to the bogs and when I came back, a couple of geezers (including the landlord) were rifling through my rucksack - that was one I left pretty sharpish

including the landlord :lolol:
