I feel sorry for him, we don’t know what goes on.....he faces so much prejudice though his size and it may well affect him at a level we cant see. He maybe hurting which in turn make him eat for comfort. Its well known and you should mock people who are down. Yes he has had many chances to loose weight but he may feel at that size, how will he ever slim? Being that size also make every thing so much more difficult to do. So the exercise he would need to do would be crippling. All of what you have said is presumptions, don’t be quick to judge..all you know is what you hear...this is nothing! how do you know its true? You don’t know him!

There's little or no doubt that he's a comfort eater. The bloke needs some Prozac and counselling then a trip to Weight Watchers or Slimmers World.

Problem he has is recognising that he needs help. Fat people, unlike drinkers and drug addicts are obvious by their shere size and thus tend to get vilified.

The whole point is that many people have weight problems, I know I do but I keep mine at a managable level by eating properly and avoiding drink and junk food and such like.

Rik Waller is a young man and should be able to shed weight with too much difficulty physically but is he mentally prepared to do so ? Given any amount of editing on 'Celebrity Fat Club' it's hard to argue that he did anything other than quit.

Obesity is a problem as are drinking to excess is drug addiction. The question, as has been asked repeatedly, how much effort is he putting into it ? Does he have the motivation ?

Rik Waller will suffer serious health problems which end up costing you and me, the tax payer. Not that it's to be condoned but drinkers and smokers at least pay their way in tax. Mr Waller is no doubt hampered in his career becuase of his size I'm sure which aught to be sufficient for him to get something done.

As with any addiction he'll continue in his vicious circle of comfort eating until he gets help. The guy does have low self esteem and though I didn't see it I have to admit that I was a bit pissed off that a (fatish) and talentless slag like Jade Goody could upset him on National TV.
