Thats a f***ing great way to look at the world. I genuinely wish I thought like that but I find it difficult to muster too much sympathy for people who create their own suffering - maybe I'm too cynical. Especially if, like in Waller's case (and unlike many others), people abuse the help they are given.

Waller was crying again on "Back to Reality" last night after Jade Goody laid into him verbally.

He does feel very very sorry for himself. Perhaps his actions need to be more positive.

Look I'm not totally without sympathy, he clearly has an addiction problem and most probably he comfort eats. I've been fighting with my weight since childhood and diet pretty much all the time. Apart from anything else at my age my metabolism has slowed somewhat.

However, I would still ask, what is Rik Waller actuallly doing about it ? It's a shame that a slapper llike Jade Goody could reduce him to tears on national TV and I have to admit part of my sympathy comes from the fact that the guy obviously has low self esteem.

He was favourite to be voted out of Back To Reality, but I think people are starting to feel quite sorry for him.

He DOES have low self-esteem but has made himself a sort of 'c' list celebrity and that is to his credit.

His problem is, he does not want to tackle the weight issue.
