If you don't renew you are not a true supporter. No matter what you should support your team through thick and thin. In other words you should renew

Thats MHO anyway :)

sorry matt thats not the case just because he does'nt renew it makes him no less of a supporter if you had seen the game saturday you would understand we don't get the luxury of superstars every week we would be happy with the team putting 5 passes together

not renewing is never going to cross my mind, i work just so i can pay off MY season ticket because i love the team, itw what being a supporter is about. division one lasy year was absolutely amazing and im not going to not renew because were not winning the league, i just find that such a negative attitude and not showing a true support to the club, what did u do when we were down in the dumps, on the edge of existance, the reasonb we got through is because most of us didnt give up and supported the team we follow with pride

It was that bad

You should still support them though. If they went out of existence and you couldn't go anymore then you would deffo wish you could.

I'll still renew unless the club increase the prices to stupid proportions. I can't see this happening - the club are not that daft.

If money is an issue then buy a season ticket with a mate and share it over the course of the season.

There are several people I know who do this - which makes sense if you're a bit short of the readies.

How much are your tickets then? I payed £330 as a student but my dad payed £450.

£415 for an adult South Stand Centre

But i'll not turn my back on the team i've loved through the good and the bad :nono:

Have you forgotten already how bad we used to be? ??? 91st and 91st place 2 season on the trot. Playing at someone else's ground f*** knows how many miles away. And with a shite team too.

We have a few good seasons and now some expect us to Real f***ing Madrid. I'd settle for 2nd Div football if it means getting Falmer in a few seasons time and then have the chance to finally build a team capable of playing in the top 2 Divisions.

I'm having a right old season ticket dilema (cue posts of "don't you live in Tokyo?").

Well yes I do but I renewed this season thinking I'd be back from Oz around about October-ish. As it was I got moved on to Japan and have now been told it's likely I'll be here for much of 2004 with who-knows-where after. The mate I've been sitting next to is giving up because his missus just had twins and he's understandably busy.

I think there's no point in me renewing, I might as well give my seat to someone who can get to games regularly. My only worry is there might be no-one willing to take it up. I've consoled myself with the fact that if I do end up back home early for any reason I can go to away's instead :)

To be honest GB, I don't think there is any point in you renewing as:-

a) you don't know how many or if you'll see any games at all
b) by all accounts they have been difficult to sell on
and
c) as a result it doesn't seem too difficult to get a ticket just prior to a game.

The same for me, it doesn't make economic sense to do so
