Back in Sussex
...kicked off at 12:30.

Keen to hear updates on Dunk and Ferguson - he sounded hopeful last night that they'll be available on Sunday.

Bmuff drawn with Chelsea , ham and Brentford (away) already this season.

With key players seemingly out this is suddenly looking tricky.

Sorry to be a buzzkill, but I am far less confident about Bournemouth this week than I was about Utd last weekend.

It's not just the injuries...

Bournemouth have looked better than their results would suggest so far this season.

They will also have had a whole week to prepare compared to 2 days for us. Thursday evening fixtures are well-renowned for having a significant impact on EPL team performances/results for the following gameweek and this will be our first experience of having to handle this.

So lots of changes , no Ferguson, gross, Milner, will be pretty much everyone on the bench who did and didn’t come on then in the team- with maybe an U21 player or two.

Could do without the Chelsea league cup game next Wednesday

Ferguson could play, but maybe off the bench.
Think Gross was due a rest anyway.
Sure we’ll play some fringe players against Chelsea.

I thought they played really well at the Amex last season, really up for it, and were unlucky to finally succumb to that late Mitoma goal. Total opposite to Fulham, for instance, who came to defend and nicked a result.
