You're talking absolute shit. Modern UK socialism is broadly about welfare and opportunity for all. There is absolutely nothing hipocritical about with being wealthy and supporting such values.

Oh yes there is, lots of companies entertain there, whether bragg has made use of it i cant say, my problem with bragg, is that he has made a cartload of money , but he's against anyone else doing the same, but not everybody can make money out of the miserable dirges that he passes off as music.

He advocates we all integrate and live in the lefty urbanised such as Barking (his home town, ever so proud of) and is very vocal about the state of affairs in that part of the world, a few times a year we see him return 'home' to the multicultural paradise for a few hours. Tell everyone how lucky they are to be there, stand together etc then fucks off to a sprawling gaff in the countryside with a 98.1% white ethnic population...

Maybe he didn't want his kids growing up in an area riddled with crime? getting mugged on the way home from school? Maybe he wanted them to experience multiculturalism from an all white school? Smacks of 'do as I say, not as I do' really.....Much like Dianne Abbott with her public condemnation of the private schooling system (then sends her kids to fee paying City of London School)

Billy Bragg is a hypocrite because he reaps the rewards of a mixed economy off the back of record sales owing to his commercialisation of socialist rhetoric and for someone who preaches a redistrubitive (aka very left wing) stance who then blatantly fails to demonstrate redistribtuion in action is a hypocrite

Google his gaff! Imagine how many comrades he could fit in it!

There are some commercial partners such as the Guardian and Orange (although I think a couple of deals are coming to an end) but their areas can as easily be entered as me than by Billy Bragg.

Obviously there are back stage areas but you wouldn't expect Beyonce to get changed in a tent.
