QPR chase Hatters hitman
Luton striker Tony Thorpe is poised to join Queens Park Rangers.
QPR chief executive David Davies is thrashing out a fee for the forward with the Hatters administrators.
And the Rangers website reports that Thorpe went to Loftus Road to talk over personal terms on Thursday.
The 29-year-old former Bristol City and Fulham player is in his second spell at Kenilworth Road.
And he began the season in style, netting a brace in the 3-1 win over Rushden & Diamonds to take his career tally to 151 goals.
Davies told the R's official website: "Tony Thorpe is a player with a tremendous goal record and we have no doubt he would be a valuable addition to our squad."
Should we try and sign this bloke just to piss them off even more!
