The fact Duffy was in the squad and played could suggest he’s off or he could be ill.

My sauce hasn’t got much more currently

I think the fact that Pröpper didn't make the cut from the provisional to final Netherlands squads and was absent today suggests an injury, illness or he's in isolation.

Well Alzate, Molumby, MacAllister, Bissouma did themselves no harm vs Chelsea there, and I like the quicker transition. Davy's place definitely under threat.

Nice problems to have

Ajax have told Donny van de Beek he can leave, and you'd expect Propper might be a name in the frame to be his replacement.

But other people may know the things you do not know and you may know things that the other people do not know.

And some of the other people may know things that you didn't know that you knew until you realised that you knew them when they told you what they knew,

I wouldn’t be surprised if we cashed in on davy this window as I can’t see him shifting the three that are starting today. I like both him and stephens they just lack that dynamism

It would be a bit of a shame if we only retained our first 11. Selling everyone who doesn’t make the squad for a friendly would seem a little short sighted, particularly since GP changes his team every week. The chances of today’s central midfield playing every game this season are zero.

What’s it called? Cumbernauld

I appreciate that, but we still have an abundance of cm’s currently and he’s still a player we could make a profit on.

Propper is a CLASS player. Sell? You’re joking - yes there are occasions you could strangle him for giving the ball away in defence cheaply but overall he makes a significant difference to the team and should always be in the 16 on a match day - thankfully his absence is apparently down to just a knock - sell? Shut up!

Agree we're unlikely to sell, but the days when he was near enough guaranteed a place in the team are gone

Brian Owen says injured.

"Davy Propper, left out of the Dutch national squad this week, missed the game with a minor Achilles problem".
