Those silly folks would soon learn a lesson.I don’t object to the sensible person having a beer in the stands which applies to 99% of fans at a game but it is unfortunate that the 1% of dickheads will inevitably spoil it for everyone else.

Probably about as much as they feel for you.Oh no … I really feel for those poor people.
If everyone did this, and didn’t lob the beer around, then fine….but it will not happen. Please read again. I am suggesting a pint before kick off, and then purchase another at half time to go back to his seat rather than neck it, or leave part of it behind, or miss a few minutes. I am only suggesting two pints in total.
I think that is reasonable. Also Luzzing should be a season ban at the very least. Please read again. That's a big win for me thenProbably about as much as they feel for you.
So basically because you don't want it no one should have it? Seems reasonable and measured. That's a big win for me then![]()
Not once they have got their beer it won’t beThat's a big win for me then![]()
I've never come across it anywhere other than on here.I’m fascinated by the term “luzzing”. I’d not heard it before a couple of years ago (yes, I know, I’m very old). It seems (according to ChatGPT) to derive from “loosing” (ie, you’re “loosing” the beer by throwing it away). Most hits for “luzzing” through Google are for NSC, but maybe the Google algorithm is sending me to where I’ve been before.

Well, if it’s a WOP you’re after, I’m your man, and I’m convinced it’s not an old expression.I've never come across it anywhere other than on here.
I assumed it was some sort of weird old person word that I wasn't familiar with.
Completely agree. Anyone who has experienced the tyranny of attending Sport in the USA will feel the deep rage and frustration as people continually get up and down to get refreshments. Attention spans of Zebedee....This morning on radio 5 they had someone championing the idea of allowing drinking in the stands. What is your view on this? For what it is worth I think it is a dreadful idea for many reasons but my top two would be
1. I hate going to rugby and have stopped because I get fed up with people going to the bar all the time and spilling beer on me on the way back. I don’t want to miss a goal with someone going to the bar past me.
2. The new thing of luzzing beer in the air is crap. Crucial late goal and pints will be chucked in the air. It takes me three hours to get home from the Amex and I don’t want to be covered in beer for that thanks.
Maybe I am just a grumpy sod
What do others think?

And nearly always linked with videos and “hold me back” shoutsPlastic patio chairs can also be "luzzed" - but this activity is strictly confined to continental market squares during international football tournaments.
And who can forget the infamous Luzzing Of The Rubber Mat at Brighton station prior to the Ajax Europa League match"Luzzing" isn't just confined to pints of beer in and around football stadia.

Ah yes! A good effort there! And who can forget the infamous Luzzing Of The Rubber Mat at Brighton station prior to the Ajax Europa League match
This.If beer luzzing like in the away Euro games became a thing at away games in the UK I’d probably stop going. Anyone doing it is a bellend.
