Painter played 90 minutes in all 46 games in a championsip winning team. Must have done something right.

No he didn't. He was stretchered off with about 20 minutes to go away at Brentford.

Painter has got a great first touch but only two speeds, stop and go. He is far too lightweight at this level against the more physical attackers and his lack of pace means it's dangerous for him to push too far forward. Fairly decent passer of the ball though.

some of these suggestions are ridicuous............anyone playing regularly in the premiership would look absolutely amazing if you put them in, say, league 2 wouldn't they

Can't believe we have got this far and no one has mentioned the worst lump ever to walk on the pitch...walk being the operative word...

Marc Wilson, who used to play for Portsmouth and is now at Stoke. If he can play in the Premier League then anyone can.

Quite, it should be renamed as a thread of players playing above their ability.

Rubbish. Put Danny Welbeck in the Barnet team and watch him struggle pitifully. Quality players around him, that is it. Had the luck of being from Manchester.
