Harsh? Painter possibly, but having watched him play for DS recently, didn't see him striving to impress and get back in the first team squad as a regular. Looked very poor, a lot of better players on the pitch. Maybe League 2?

Painter played 90 minutes in all 46 games in a championsip winning team. Must have done something right.

Andy Reid how anyone carrying that much timber can be considered professional is simply astonishing

Given that there are less left footed players about, it does seem that a lot of lefties make it, when a right footed player of similar ability wouldn't. Dan Harding?

Vaslur Gislaisson - our glamour player from overseas when we were at priestfield. He was shockingly bad

Sooper Market trolley!

What a useless lump he was

The one who scored a goal against Sunderland, giving us 3 points which kept us up that season in the Championship?

Johnny Dixon.

And another we had on loan from Arsenal who was utterly dire. Add him to Graham Barrett, O'Cearuill, Hoyte and someone else I forget.

I think Steve Sidwell was on loan from Arsenal though, so they've not always taken the piss.

Liam Dickinson

I've never seen him have a ball under control. One of the most hideous first touches I have ever seen, dismal in the air (I remember him just jumping in the air with no apparent intention to actually head the ball), slow, lazy, cumbersome, clumsy.

Laughable. Bas Savage likewise although not as bad.
