Why has this thread been bounced? And I just got a thumbs up for a 2 year old post :lolol:

"Pritchard continues to play for Huddersfield and is a regular starter, that's interesting" said nobody, ever

I literally just googled him and thought the same - I assumed he’d moved to Crawley or something...

But I did find this article - didn’t realise it was Russell Martin apparently getting involved - the prick!

The 5-0 and the Albion fans get some good mentions at least - what a day and atmosphere - thanks dwarfy

Maybe it's just me but I can't get overly exercised about a player who selects another club over Brighton when the other club offers more money, and looks a better prospect. Until a contract is singed it isn't a contract. Perhaps I had already had an eyebrow raised by the Ian Storey-Moore debacle...I seem to remember the player interviewed on Clough's doorstep, presumably after Clough had asked him if he like plants, etc., in his transfer persuasion routine, as recounted by Dean Saunders :lolol:

"In March 1972, Storey-Moore was introduced by Brian Clough, then manager of Derby County as a new player, with a fee of £225,000 reportedly agreed.[3] However, he instead opted to sign for Manchester United, managed by Frank O'Farrell.[4] In 1974, he retired due to injury. He had scored 12 goals for United. "

All the best

Nah,why waste the money..... get his agent on the blower, tell him we're still really keen and set up the meeting at the Hickstead, little chef to do the deal....... give pritchard and his agent a mobile number to call when he gets there.

When he calls, tell him we had an 11th hour change of plan as a better option came up....sorry.

Hickstead Little Thief - what a den of iniquity. I love it's part in our history :)

Not bitter.

Twisted, very happy he is stuck in the arse end of the world (Hudders) and failed miserably in the PL, maybe. But bitter? nah.

Thought of Pritchard after reading this post from a Norwich-supporting South American football expert who had been drooling over our new man on podcasts etc.

Not being funny, but you've been known to post about 'challenging' album tracks from early 80s electro-folk bands from Tajikistan which even the artists themselves have long forgotten about.

I really don't need your permission to revive an old thread (about football).

No, you're right, that isn't funny.

My question was based on the premise I'd missed something obvious (he'd gone to Burton or somewhere). I searched and found nothing.

But of course you can bounce an old thread for no reason if you wish.

One of the best days at the Amex with the old man :rave:

"Pritchard’s every touch was booed in a largely anonymous display before he was replaced late in the second half. You certainly could forgive Pritchard if he was thinking of what might have been."

Was subbed int he first half I thought. Pritchard, what's the score, Pritchard, Pritchard, what's the score :albion2:

Nah, it was about half way through the 2nd half, just after Murray had completed his hat trick for 4-0.

Was a brilliant day though. We played very well, particularly 2nd half, and it was just one of those days where everything went our way. It was the first time that season that I objectively thought we were favourites for top 2, and I don't think that we ever looked like dropping out of the auto spots at any time after.

Literally the second the game finished I hot-footed it out of the North, train to Lewes, then to Crowborough to pick up my son as were were off camping ('glamping' really) to a farm on the Suffolk............................NORFOLK border!

AND guess which team the farm owner supported?!!! Yes, he did indeed 'get it' that weekend and Bank Holiday Monday with the abuse.

Top performance that 5-0 game was.
