Preston Park pikeys ...............

Many people have had enough of these *******s doing what they like. If something isn't done about them, I can see vigilante groups taking the law into their own hands.
It came close to kicking off in Saltdean last Wednesday when the travellers tried to get onto Saltdean Park, but most were prevented from doing so by local residents. Quite a large crowd assembled, outnumbering the pikeys, and the Police made the few who had got in move out again.

Remarkable, when they tried to get on a park in Burgess Hill a few years back a few of us tried to stop them and the coppers turned up. Not only did they escort them on the park they told us after we got a bit cross that they weren't there to stop the pikeys getting on, they were there to make sure we didn't break the law.

Why don't the council just introduce a bye-law making it a £500 a night offence for staying on a public park without permission. They could leave them for month and then seize all their vans.

Cos the twats have no fixed abode and piss off without paying any fines. Same way non of the f****rs pay road tax or insurance

I saw them starting to arrive, and quickly drove my old 4x4 around and parked across the entrance to stop any more getting on. Some teenagers told me that they had seen the travellers cut through the padlock to gain entrance, and that they had already called the Police. When the pikeys realised what I was doing they threatened me, but I just locked all the doors and sat tight, and told them I wasn't moving until the Police turned up. Several more caravans turned up and more threats ensued but I was determined not to be intimidated. When the local residents realised what was happening, a crowd started to form, and eventually a couple of squad cars turned up. After much discussion, the Police told the travellers to move off to prevent any disorder.

Im fairly certain if i took my car to Preston Park at any given time and started doing donuts and driving like a terwat then i would be swiftly dealt with by the police. It seems the police are actually scared to even approach the travellers let alone deal with them for committing any offences.

Nailed on fact if the day,the police are SHIT scared of do as we likeys.

It was reported in the Argus that B&H council has spent £780,000 "supporting" the travelling community. Why? They contribute nothing to the local economy.

They tried that last year as well with the same result. Such a pity that they have to plague our city every summer.

Along with the Green councillors and MP who encourage them.
Unfortunately these travellers have been turning up for years at all these spots under both Labour and Tory administrations! So, bearing in mind the Greens are a minority administration at present, exactly how is it their fault that we have this traveller problem?! Do you really think that these travellers will just f*** off when Labour or the Tories get in??!!!

My exes mum was a health visitor who went out of her way to go up to see the travellers kids and help them with access to healthcare, education etc. etc. whilst she was doing that I wondered how many of her regular patients were missing out on her time but she was too right on to be worried about that.

As much as I share your frustrations over the actions of many of these people, I cannot understand your objections to ensuring that potentially vulnerable children get proper healthcare.
