Annoying as this will boost the beheader's GD. How come SU almost got a result against Spurs but are being absolutely hammered here?

The only thing stopping Newcastle getting double figures here is how much they can be arsed.

Brighton
Newcastle being gifted a chance to sort their goal difference. Hopefully we get a bottom 3 who’ll be equally generous.

As ever, Jason Tindall is so desperate to get on TV, that he sends a sub on with a tactical note for another player. At 7-0 up, away from home, with less than ten minutes left. Nice one, JT.

I want Sheff I to get a goal and one of their players grab the ball out of the net and sprint back to the centre circle.

Six minutes added time seems a little cruel.

And I thought Bart's goalkeeping howler would be the most Sunday League thing this Sunday.

Quick question :

How come referees will let players pinch 5, 10, or 15 yards when taking throw in's but if you tried doing that at a free kick you'd be accused of taking the piss and the ball would go back to the point of infringement.

Watching the Sheffield v Newcastle cricket match at the moment there have been several noticeable instances of players of both teams taking throw in's miles from where the ball went out. The latest a couple of mins ago saw Davies take a throw 3 strips of grass further forward from where the ball rolled out - that's 18 yards!

Why is this allowed to go, but move the ball an inch from a free kick and you'll be pulled up for it?
