Just make it deliberate handball, it’s not bloody difficult is it.
Until someone gets a massive benefit, like scoring or prevent a goal, with an accidental handball, then we start crying for a proviso for when it's not necessarily deliberate but it still feels like it should given. Then of course the argument goes to how much of an advantage, how far back in the play - the ball dropping to your feet after an accidental handball allowing you to play a teammate in on goal when it would have otherwise flown out for a throw, for instance.

Or until we don't like the decision and the player looked innocent enough and we start questioning how the referee can know he meant it. And we start to realise 'deliberate' doesn't always mean 'deliberate', just that they did something that he maybe should have know would result in the ball making a beneficial contact with the ball, even if he didn't mean it, such as sticking an arm out 'to try to make yourself big' when an opponent is trying to play the ball past you.

Sussex but not by the sea
These refs are bloody useless. Time and time again they fall for the player getting their body between opponent and ball and then deliberately slowing down to initiate contact, then diving the moment the slightest contact is made. Stop giving them free kicks and they’ll stop doing it.

Probably not meant that but Chelsea now begining to look like a team that have spent 760 billion. Strolling against unbeaten Arsenal..

So, Sanchez comes out, flattens Jesus. Dangerous, not even close to getting the ball. The type of thing keepers are rarely punished for but I don’t really get why. Any other player, it’s a penalty and borderline red card.

Remember at the start of the season when they said they would be booking players for getting in referees faces, adding on all wasted time, booking players for kicking the ball away etc

That lasted long didn’t it, Chelsea players surrounding the referee constantly already
Just posted on the match thread today though. Foden (?) booked for kicking the ball away, sockboy booked for dissent. Surprised to see, given that it was Man City.
