Leicesters demise is proof you take the premier league survival year after year at your peril. not long ago they were lauded. Shows that things can go very wrong if you don’t get it right. With players like Maddison, Barnes and Riccardo- should be nowhere near bottom 3.
They didn’t properly replace Schmeichal, Fofana and other defenders. They literally concede every game.

Leicester don’t look bothered do they. No big tackles, no frustrated bookings, no fight or anger.

Maybe most of the team don’t feel the jeopardy? Tielemens end of contract, few of them at the ends of their careers, Maddison knows he’ll get a big move. #shambles

Put a fork in Leicester. They are done and dusted. Only question now is it Dirty or Everton?
Can they get 3 or 4 points from these?

That was mustard. TAA can’t defend but he can’t half hit a ball
He’s not a good one on one defender but Klopp has started playing him in the Gross RB role of stepping into midfield whilst one of the CB or DM drops into right back for him, makes him a much more effective player, probably explains why Liverpool have been on such a good run alongside getting all their best players back.

He’s an exceptionally talented footballer, just needs to be nurtured and utilised… get him in RDZ :lolol:

Through all the age groups TAA was a midfielder.

But Klopp has a tactical thing for talented footballers playing as FB’s who spend most the game upfield creating, pushing opposition wingers back. Knows more goals will be conceded than for example Conte/Mourinho football, but the creativity and goals scored stats more than pay it back. It went awry this season as the centre midfield cover overnight became decrepit.

Are Newcastle looking over their shoulder and getting slightly worried? Getting close for positions 3 to 5. Nerves could kick in Thursday. Been a while since they last felt pressure like this.

Oh bloody great, Leicester are on again next Monday - incredibly the fourth time this month! Is this some kind of Monday night masochist shite that Sky are rolling out?

I might be alone or with a minority but until FT on Thursday we are still well in this CL race because beat Newcastle and those nerves you speak of for MU and Newcastle will double up fast!!

Possibly, but after us they've got Leicester at home, which should see them right. Maybe they'll try and go at us from the start, but after watching our games against Arsenal and Everton, I wouldn't be surprised if they're a bit more careful and happy to counter attack.

We're obviously a better team than got thrashed by Smug's Bournemouth a few years back, but we're still pretty vulnerable to the counter.
